Okay, so I'm going to be a tiny bit self-absorbed here, but I am SO excited to share this with you guys! One of my favourite boutiques, M. VE, and I, Milmil, are featured in the September issue of Vogue Australia!
Yep, Vogue! (squeal!) I still can't believe this to be real, but I am so thrilled to say that it is :). When my gorgeous friend Mel, the girl behind M.VE, asked me to be involved in their Vogue feature I could not believe my ears - and of course I couldn't say no! An absolutely amazing effort for M.VE boutique to land a spot in the Vogue Directory in the September issue. This would have to have been one of my favourite shoots, especially in terms of styling, which Mel and I put together with some of M.VE's amazing stock, and working with photographer Lyndel Yeo was an absolute blast!
If you haven't heard of M.VE (gasp), they are a Melbourne based boutique chain with stores in both South Melbourne and Heidelberg. Stocking some of Australia's iconic labels like Maurie and Eve, MLM and Bec and Bridge, as well as major international shoe label Jeffrey Campbell, you will always find something amazing, stylish and ahead of the trends here! - Not to mention the lovely girls in store will help you get fitted from head to toe.
One of the things I love so much about M.VE is that they are continually keeping one step ahead of the pack in terms of the seasons biggest and hottest trends, at affordable prices.
Here's a little peak into our shoot and the feature in print, we would love for you to check it out in this month's issue :)
'M.VE Boutique captures the soul of not only local, but international style. Embracing the individual essence of fashion savvy women and trend setters, delivers the most sought after fashion, footwear and accessories with labels like Bec & Bridge, Shakuhachi, Maurie & Eve and Jeffrey Campbell.
Keeping at the forefront of our evolving fashion world, M.VE embodies innovative vision for it's two boutiques, as well as the online store, by supporting and collaborating with aspiring fashion bloggers like Amelia Waters from 'Milmil' - 'We love being able to utilise a relationship with bloggers as their personal representation of our product has a strong influence within the community and is an excellent way for us to engage our consumer market with fresh ideas and the most up to date styles and trends" - Melissa, Owner'
I have to say, having been reading Vogue for as long as I can remember now, this is like a dream come true! To be featured for M.VE and have not only my writing, but a part-self styled shoot in the pages of, what many of us I'm sure, like to refer to as 'The Fashion Bible', is beyond anything I imagined happening when I began blogging, I still find myself sitting here typing this with the biggest, goofiest grin on my face as I share this with you (proud moment!). Make sure you get down to M.VE and see the girls, you can shop these looks now, in store and for Pre order online at http://www.mveboutique.com/category-s/58.htm.
Enjoy! x
